| Objective:Eperythrozoonosis is a zoonotic disease i.e. both human and animal can beinfected. At present, the epidemic range of eperythrozoonosis in our country is quitewide, amongst which Anhui province is also an affected district and the situation inFuyang city area is very serious. Thus we selected the area in Funan County ofFuyang city as the study site to study the infection of Eperythrozoonsis patients inoutpatient fever in Funan County. We also investigated the infected patients in ourhospital to study outpatient fever of eperythrozoonosis, and observed the effect ofminocycline and Reduqing oral liquid on eperythrozoonosis treatment.Methods:The peripheral blood or blood smear, fixing, staining, microscopy wereused for the detection of people with different ages, different occupation in blood ofpatients with fever of eperythrozoon in the outpatient clinic of both our hospital andFunan County. In addition, positive patients with human eperythrozoonosis in ourcourtyard outpatient service were randomly treated with Reduqing oral liquid orminocycline treatment, respectively, before treatment, after cure the morning fastingblood specimens of7-9, urine and stool, check blood smear, blood routine, liver andkidney function, urine routine, stool routine+occult Blood, ECG, and statisticaltreatment. The average defervescence time, improvement of symptoms before andafter treatment, blood smear, red blood cell, hemoglobin, platelets, white blood cell,serum total bilirubin, direct bilirubin, alanine aminotransferase, aspartatetransaminase level changes were observed for the patients.Results:(1) The infection rate of Eperythrozoonsis patients with fever in Funan county was4.4%, with the highest infection rate of the livestock breeding personnel, accountingfor66.7%(26/39) of the infected sample and2.9%of the total sample (26/896);Eperythrozoon infection rate of male and female were2.5%(22/896) and1.9%(17/896), respectively, which showed a higher infection rate for male than female, butthere was no significant difference (P>0.05); (2) The infection rate of Eperythrozoonsis patients with fever in our hospital was3.1%(37/1186), including28people engaged in livestock breeding, slaughter andpork sales personnel, accounting for75.7%(28/37) of the total infected number and2.4%of the total sample (28/1186).37cases of Eperythrozoonsis patients had redblood cell diseases, anemia, jaundice, fever, fatigue, sweating and other symptoms.Experimental examination showed a decrease of red blood cell and hemoglobin andincrease of net red cell with white blood cell normal or slightly elevated, plateletnormal or decreased, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase increasedslightly. An obvious therapeutic effect was observed for the35Eperythrozoonsispatients who participated in the experiment and were treated with minocycline orReduqing oral liquid.Conclusion:(1) Detection of human eperythrozoonosis materials was easily available and themethod was very simple;(2) The infection rate of Eperythrozoonsis patients with fever in Funan County. wasmuch smaller than the previously reported rate in Fuyang and other parts of thecountry. The most likely infected group of human eperythrozoon was mainly thelivestock breeding personnel;(3) Minocycline had an obvious effect on the treatment of Eperythrozoonosis;(4) Reduqing oral liquid had significant curative effect on the treatment of peoplewith eperythrozoonosis, no adverse effects on patients;(5) The effect of Reduqing oral liquid and minocycline on people witheperythrozoonosis had no obvious difference. |
