Clinical And Experimental Study Of Tongfengqing-Granule On Treatment Urate Nephropathy

Background: In recent years along with the economical development, thedietstructural change and the obese patient increased, the incidence rate of highuricacidemiadisease was increased year by year. The urate nephropathy is the mostcommon performance of uricacidemiadisease. Based on Traditional Chinese Medicinetheory, we selected the Tongfengqing-granule, which can eliminate damp-heat, dredge themeridian and relieve pain, to evaluate the efficacy of the Tongfengqing-granule. intreatment the urate nephropathy in patients and the SD rats models.Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of the Tongfengqing-qranule on treatment the uratenephropathy by the improvement of patients’s symptom, physical sign and the breadboardindex. We also evaluate the efficacy of the granule on reducing SUA and improving renalfunction in urate nephropathy SD rats model caused by adenine and yeast.Methods:1. Experimental research: Forty-six SD rats were randomly divided into sixgroups: normal group, model group, Benzbromarone group, low dose,middle dose and large dose of Tongfengqing-granule group. Rats wereiduced urate nephropathy model by gorged with adenine and yeast. Afterforty-six days, we put the mouse to death, then draw blood and cut off thekidney for blood test or histopathology observation.2. Clinical research: Fifteen patients with urate nephropathy were treatedwith Tongfengqing-qranule about 3 weeks.To evaluate the efficacy of theTongfengqing-qranule on improvement the symptom, physical sign, andthe breadboard intex.Results:1. Experimental research: the average level of SUA in serum in Tongfengqing-granulegroup were lower than in control group. Histopatholgy indicated that the kidney impairwere the lightest in the large dose of Tongfengqing-granule group.2. Clinical research: the clinical effective rates were 80％in the Tongfengqing-granulegroup, and the correlated symptom, physical sign, and the breadboard index were significantly improved.Conclusion: the Tongfengqing-granule showed can effective improve and controllingthe SUA; and it also have the ability to prevent the kidney impair caused by uratenephropathy.
