Study On Translation Of Long And Complex Sentences Based On The Differences Of The Structure Between English And Chinese Sentences

With increasing international exchanges, Chinese and western communication areincreasingly frequent. The need for the communication of high quality implies therequirement of good translation. So research and discussion on English translationstrategies and skills are essential to improve the quality of translation. In addition, theanalysis and translation of the long difficult sentences is one of the most important anddifficult parts. This paper focuses on the method of translating this kind of sentences bysummarizing the differences between the structure of English sentences and Chinesesentences based on the translation practice and put forward three strategies oftranslation. The purpose is to make the translation further conform to Chinese writinglogic on the basis of the content faithful to the original text.Mainly consists of four parts,this paper will first introduce the translation materials. Following analysis will contrastthe differences of English and Chinese sentence structure.At last，three strategies will bediscussed in accordance with the analysis above and then comes a summary.
