Along the last years, China is undergoing the "opening door" process which leads to changes within the society as well as in the language. Therefore, it should be asked whether the "opening door" process that China experiences lead to globalization of language as well. For better understanding and smoother communication between people from different countries and cultures, the code-switching serves as an unavoidable tool to demonstrate how the creation of conversation strategy might be conducted.In order to explain the situation in nowadays China, in this study I created a new model-the ’Code-culture’ which demonstrates the process participants of a conversation undergo during such situations-and a theory which is named ’Code-Strategy’, that explains in details about the ’Code-culture’ model’s diagram in different situations. The ’Code-Culture’ model and the ’Code Strategy-Strategy’ theory are proved by three distinctive previous theories. The ’Code-Culture’ model is based on the combination of Brown and Levinson’s ’Politeness theory’(1987), Haugh and Hinze’s ’Conversation theory’(2003) and Myers-Scotton’s ’revised Markedness model’(1993a). Examples were provided from the Nanjing University campus community and its surrounding.Data gathering is warranted by Audio recording, SMS and notes of conversations in real time. Data analysis is based on SPEAKING model (Hymes,1972), Jan Blommaert (2010:239-369;2010:682-686) and "revised Markedness model"(Myers-Scotton,1993b). The results suggest that the cross-culture communication leads to inter-communication that consequently leads to the adoption of a new common language in all "open-door" societies.
