Bi Feiyu has a strong historical complex, but he doesn’t aim to pursue specific historical events when plunging in history; instead, he tries to seek historical experience and atmosphere through history in order to open the historical curtain and reveal the excellent truth of history. Meanwhile, Bi Feiyu is a writer believing in life persistently. His understanding on life is human survival and poetical survival, and his texts externalize his belief. In his texts at different stages, we can deeply feel his spirit dimension in creation:starting from individual life, focusing on human living state persistently in human vision, and inquiring and exploring the original meaning and nature of life rationally. Because of the redemption feelings embedded, he draws a poetical picture of Utopia, trying to find another possibility for existence. The third chapter explores the causes for the allegorical attributes of his novels internally and externally. The external cause is the internalization of childhood memories and the nurture of foreign and domestic classical literatures; the internal cause is his unique creation thinking. The combined action of the three factors creates the allegorical attributes in his novels.
