This paper, on the basis of previous research on electronic Mongolian dictionary, applies the theories and methods of linguistics and computer science, constructs the Mongolian keyword database in the cross-language information retrieval for Mongolian information processing. First,changes and adds about the "Mongolian (traditional, cyrillic)-Chinese electronic dictionary " and extract23,370words. Secondly, increases a new field of English interpretation. Finally, use the program of the cross-language information retrieval and does experiments. With Mongolian keywords, retrieved the Chinese and English information, so as to provide users with a richer network information.This paper consists of five parts:introduction, first chapter,second chapter, third chapter, and conclusion.Introduction, introduces the significance of the research, research theories and methods. Briefly introduces the previous research of cross-language information retrieval,the previous work on the Mongolian electronic dictionary at home and aboard, the previous research of Mongolian retrieval program.The first chapter, explains the source of materials, introduces the "Mongolian (traditional, Cyrillic)-Chinese electronic dictionary " and about its modifications and additions.The second chapter, introduces the methods and steps to construct the database, the basic information of the database, problems encountered in the process of constructing the database and something need to be improved.The third chapter, introduces the cross-language retrieval program and does experiments.Conclusion, summarizes the contents of the paper, and put forward the follow-up work.
