As social problems, women’sissues have been the focus of the world writers. Inmid19th-Century, when patriarchy had become the mainstream consciousness, women’sliberation movement had germinated and spread in the world. In1860s, women beganto get educated.At the same time, women had the possibility to choose employment andlife partners with their freedom. And this problem had reflected in many writers’work,excluding George Sand and Fyodor Dotoevsky.In many people’s opinions, George Sang is on behalf of French feminism in19th-Century. She created a great deal of female image who seek for freedom and equality.And she had a huge influence in society.Fyodor Dotoevsky had created a great deal of female image.Some of them are“Angels”, and some of them are “Syrens”. However, his “Angels” picked up weaponsand his syren had their own “charm”. Therefore, Fyodor Dotoevsky had carried on andsurpassed “Angel” and “Syren” pattern.This essay compares George Sand’s work with Fyodor Dotoevsky’ work. And itreally points out women’s issues. It exposes that women had to live in abominableenvironment during that era. So the two writers hope women can fight for theri rights,and have a good life in future.
