On the process of culture communication and literary inheritance, people do notrefuse other’s culture, but borrow and identify it, and further enrich and renew one’sself-culture. Russian immigrant literature is a specific treasure in world literature. It has amulticultural identity, either Russia’s, or the world’s. For more than half a century, Russianimmigrant literature has been laid aside. Research on it is at a beginning level, so there arehardly few researchers who had ever published articles regarding it.However, Russian writers, poets and artists did not lose their source of creation ordrop their literary creation because they left their homeland. They hardly kept on writing for afruitful result. There are many genres in this literature: long, medium and short novels. Thereare dramas, poems, diaries, memoirs, historical biographies, children’s literatures, and manytranslations. In these writings, an express of missing the writer’s homeland is the basic theme.Either love, life, loneliness, joy, sad, religion, people, tradition, culture, or the landscape ofone’s living place are all their themes of creation.Russian immigrant writers, especially poets, who explore philosophy in life expressinner feeling and their observation is meticulous. Also the description is exquisite. Thewriting tells a complicated inner world hiden deeply in their hearts and outlines a scenery oflife. Russian immigrant writers, create a different new genre of literature, by absorbing boththeir homeland and culture from their second home.This paper is constructed by forward, content (four chapter), conclusion, andreference:The forward is a generalization about main content and significance of this paper. Chapter one is to introduce the background of the emerging of Russian immigrantliterature, and to analyze and study social lives of Russian immigrant.Chapter two is to analyze and study Russian immigrant literature on a cross-culturalcontext.Chapter three is to analyze and discuss Russian immigrant literature on a Chinesecultural context.Chapter four is to analyze and study Russian immigrant literature on a Americancultural context.The conclusion is to summarize the contribution that Russian immigrant literaturebrings to world culture on a cross-cultural context.
