The Musical Image Modeling Of The Themine Zhao Ying In The Music Drama<Seeking Thonghout The Journey>

Yi Lu Xun Zhao(Seek out the Missing), a musical play, tells the story about choice, love and spirit during the2008Sichuan Earthquake. With "deep reflection for the best commemoration of the tragedy" as original intention, scriptwriter Wang Baoshe and composer Meng Weidong composed this first large musical play concerning earthquake relief work in China, which was firstly performed in Beijing Guo’an Theater on May12,2009, namely, the first anniversary of the Great Sichuan Earthquake.Over recent years, Chinese original musical play has stepped into a favorable development stage under the joint efforts of all social communities. The musicals such as Butterfly, Jinshan, and Song of the Film have been widely known and accepted by audiences. Yi Lu Xun Zhao has been the first musical play created by Art Troupe of Chinese People’s Armed Police Force since its establishment as well as a new footstone in the creation path of Chinese musical play.On the fourth anniversary of the Great Sichuan Earthquake, the author was lucky to participate in the rehearsal and performance of Yi Lu Xun Zhao as a singer of Art Troupe of Chinese People’s Armed Police Force and played the leading actress-Zhao Ying in this play. In the play, Zhao Ying performed many arias with wide range and strong emotion, which was a test for singer. When singing these tracks, the author skillfully combined folk style singing technique and popular singing technique. With the aid of this scientific vocal skill, the author has supplemented musical language and reinforced the appeal of this play based on the natural and fluent singing.At present, a growing number of Army Art Troupes and Social Troupes are trying to get engaged in musical play, such as Jasmine produced by Art Troup of Political Department of the Air Force and Equinoctial Rain produced by Art Troup of Navy Political Department, among these musicals the leading roles were usually played by national vocal music performers. As a vocal performer participating in rehearsal, the author expects to consider and expand this topic and share the experience which applied singing technique of national vocal music to musical play singing with the performers of musical play in the future.
