Watercolor is known in China, and has a complete system of a kind of painting, and thelike, by the people because of its unique artistic charm. Watercolors, works depicting withwatercolor paints it in water for dilution medium, through transparent pigments diluted withwater, expression of images on paper or other media, and fully demonstrated thecharacteristics of watercolor, mainly full use and enjoy playing other kinds of painting is noteasy to do color charm. The Chinese watercolor after nearly a century of nationalizationdevelopment, can be said to have made great achievements. Not only has its own unique styleof artistic outlook, but also with many of the best works of art. Such nationalization includes alot of content, not just from the start on painting materials, techniques, and painting objects, itis more important to master traditional Chinese culture, fusion of the national spirit andconnotation in watercolor, and through practices and drawing techniques to perfect itsheritage and connotation. In this paper, from the examples to illustrate the significance ofChinese watercolor, and the combination of past history and current problems as well aswatercolors of the direction of development to make adequate preparations for the watercolorof a better tomorrow. This paper mainly includes the following five chapters:Chapter I, Introduction. Introduces the origin and the status quo of China’s watercolorwatercolor, as well as the purpose and significance of the study of Chinese watercolor;Second, the significance of Chinese watercolor nationality: promoting the culture of orientalcharm, highlighting the unique art style, a fusion of Western culture; Chapter Chinawatercolor national character performance: the pursuit artistically, to create a mood and formof style; Chapter of Chinese contemporary watercolor nationalization the misunderstandingfrom Chinese contemporary watercolor nationalization exploration starting suggestion toimprove the Chinese contemporary watercolor nationalization; Chapter proposed theconclusion of the article concludes. For the study of the development of contemporaryChinese art of painting, prosperous art market is meaningful.
