Different from those writers from other provinces, most of Tibet writers werecultivated by Tibetan literature. Tibetan literature was established with the support ofPropaganda Department of the Committee in Tibet autonomous region of theCommunist Party of China,in1976. At the beginning, Tibetan literature is acomprehensive literary and art publication including fine art, music, folk art, paintingand other art categories rather than an independent literary publication. In order topromoting the development of Tibetan literature, Tibet literature and art was renamedas Tibetan literature in1984.From that time on, Tibetan literature has become aspecialized literary journal. Journal Editors often went to grass-roots organizations toget works for the development of Tibetan literature. At that time, the pioneer novels ofMa Yuan and Tashidawa were strongly suspected and criticized by scholars. Tibetanliterature organized critics writing so many review articles in time, to interpret theirworks and make their explorations and innovations in skill and form of novel areaccepted and approved gradually by scholars. Tibetan literature made the greatestcontribution to the forming of the Tibetan writer’s group and the pioneeringachievements of Tibetan literature in1980’s.With the prosperity of Tibetan literature, the study of regional literature begins toreceive scholars`attention. Some scholars put forward the concept of westernliterature. Western Literature more refers to geographical significance. Tibetanliterature has been incorporated into the scope of the research for Western literature inthat concept. However, Tibetan literature has its own strongly national culturalcharacteristics from its cultural tradition and ethnic beliefs which have obviousdifferences from other western regions’. Therefore, it’s lack of academical andrational basis to put Tibetan literature into the concept of Western Literature. YoungTibetan writers can’t agree on the regional literary classification. These young Tibetanwriters including Tashidawa expressed their consideration to this kind of classification from different religious, ethnic culture, philosophy and literary themes and depth etc.Up to present, the most three dazzling Tibetan writers are Ma Yuan, Tashidawaand A Lai. The greatest contribution of Ma Yuan’s work is that he injected some freshblood to the literature that time through his exploration in form and skills in his work.Specifically, Ma Yuan uses the form of Meta fiction breaking the fictional reality ofwhich people pursuited previously. So the reason that Ma Yuan was known as apioneer writer is based on his revolutionary exploration on forms of novel. However, the vanguardism of original content in his work is ignored. Ma Yuan uses his personalexperience in writing and put the sex of a leprosy patient, the hidden relationsbetween an old man and a dog into works on the background of Tibet, which makeshis works have a pioneering significance in content. The vanguardism of Ma Yuan’s novels reflects in the writing form and pioneering content of personal experience, both of which constitute the vanguardism of MaYuan’s novels together. Unlike Ma Yuan who is a Han, Tashidawa writes the Tibetannational culture and concept in the way of National Fable to express the identity tonational spirit and faith, which uses the advantage of identity and combine with thelocal culture of Tibet to get inside the national spirit deeply. But his way of expressionis confined to the concept of fictive exposure of the national culture, and so thecharacters in his works appear something flat, which showing a clear feature ofone-way. A Lai won the5th Mao Dun literature prize in2000for his novel Red Poppy.Critics have done a great deal of discussions from a fool’s unique perspective, modernity, religion and culture etc for this novel, but few people pay attention to thefate of the female character in this novel. My mother is a Han girl who was sold toTibetan territory, and so she is special female which possesses two kinds of culture, asplited subject in cultural identity. She is also a woman who is lust for power, whichdetermines her final fate for suicide. Tana is a Tibetan woman with a pure lineage.Although Tana is daughter of the hereditary headmen of Gong Rong, she is just herheadmen mother’s tool to maintain power. She could not choose her own destiny, butshe always try to fight against her fate. Tana is linked with several men in her life, butfinally she returned back to her foolish husband. The novel shows Tana’s tragical fate which represents the female who attempts to find herself in the transformation of era.Minority literature including Tibetan contemporary literature, is eligible to enterthe history of contemporary Chinese literature writing whether is from the promotionto the development of Chinese contemporary literature or the achievement of writing.on writing of novels in the new time of Tibet, the narrative method of Tibetanliterature in1980`s is called Tibetan narrative. The transformation of narrative methodis so pioneer in country. But in the discussion of Rewriting Literary History, minorityliterature including the Tibetan literature couldn’t get into the research field of theChinese contemporary literature history. Minority writers, whose works has alwaysbeen in a blocked state. This is a lack in the Chinese contemporary literature history. The Chinese contemporary Literature history is just a Han’s literary history. TheChinese contemporary Literature history should be in an effective way to absorbminority literature including Tibetan literature into the rewriting of literary history. There should be two aspects to integrate the minority literature into the Chinesecontemporary literature history. The first one is that change the previous writing ideaand remove the prejudice to minority literature, and so absorb more researchersespecially minority literature researchers involved in writing of Chinese contemporaryliterature history. The expansion of team is conductively to eliminate barriers oflanguage and cultural, and reduce misreading about minority writers and works.Secondly, in the selection of writers and works, that kind of political ideology, theso-called folk literature and narrow sense of aesthetic selection should be changed. The scientific and rational choice should be made from the true, good, beautifulprinciples of literature. Only in this way, a Chinese contemporary literature historycould be made under the national knowledge in the contemporary literature history’scontinual rewriting.
