The emerged of narrative is an important turning point during the development of historical philosophy, and it created a new issue in the postmodern historical philosophy research field, changed the condition of previous historical philosophy and history which is only aimed at reflects the authenticity of the past, such a transition makes people begin to pay attention to the effects of narrative for historical philosophy. The better use of narrative makes people more interested in history. Therefore, such a transition is extremely important to the development of historical philosophy.Hayden White is an important representative person during the transitional period.
