She has twice won the Guggenheim Fund Award and oncewon the New York Cool Critical Boundary and the Drama Club Bonus, some of the workswere adapted into a movie or drama, which made her has a broad impact in the world. Sherevealed all sorts of southern American’s existence predicaments by writing the ordinarypeople and things gently with her imagination.This paper is founded by the Existential Thoughts and aims to read the reason and deepmeaning of all the predicaments with the author’s experiences and provoke an existencetheme that life is suffering. On the other hand, the paper analyzes the inner exploration andexternal salvation of McCullers’s efforts of surviving from the predicaments by dream, love,faith and return to the nature.The paper is composited by three parts: the introduction, body and conclusion.
