Sisterhood is the source of power in women’s liberation movement and is an important part of black feminist criticism, Making individuals get together, Becoming a guarantee of survival and development to black women who live in the edge of the edge in American. Sisterhood is of great significance on striving for the status of women and the language of women. This paper, taking the construction of sisterhood in African American women literature as a criticism to examine the object, exploring the term of sisterhood how to develop from a political slogan in the women’s liberation movement into a theoretical term in white feminist criticism and how to develop in black feminism, finally taking the construction of sisterhood in the representative works of three women writers of African American women literature in different periods, including Zora Neale Hurstorn, Alice walker, Toni Morrison as an example explore the term how to enter African American women literature creation, exploring the term of sisterhood how to performance in the development, this paper tries to reveal the true meaning of the construction of sisterhood in African American women literature.
