| Rock N’ Roll has its important position in popular music. Rock musical is also one of the music styles that cannot be neglected in Europe and America. Stories of rock musical stay close to reality and life that attracts many young fans who are crazy for it. In this paper, I not only played "Johnny" in "Tick, Tick... Boom!" of my graduation concert, but also proceeded to the specifics including translating script, properly re-structuring drama from the original English script, analyzing intentions of musical theme, understanding the character and his mental activity, etc. In this long learning process, I obtained my conclusions:1. Rock musical is the subject of musical which most close to real life. It has the most direct and strongest way for expression.2. Stage actions must be used throughout singing in musical theatre.3. During the creative process, vocal techniques must always serve the characters’ needs. |
