The Research Of The Singing And Artistic Characteristics Of Xuzhou Folk Songs

The Xuzhou Folk Songs originated from the regional folk music, beingculture accumulation, is the crystallization of the wisdom of generations ofworking people in Huaihai area (the middle part of the Eastern China). As animportant part of Northern Jiangsu folk songs, through long years booming,Xuzhou folk songs created a rich, distinctive style, providing the theme andform of colorful folk songs, morphology combined heritage through the oraltradition and the transcript, which has been sung from generation to generation.The Xuzhou Folk Song have been influenced by the local historicalgeographical environment, labor characteristics, human environment, language,environmental impact and edification of many factors, both the Northerners ofhigh-pitched, staunch and simple, and both the Jiangnan①lyrical, delicate andsoft. Meanwhile, it embodies the Xuzhou local customs and the human spirit,which is of great historical value and humanistic values, producing a truemusical portrayal since ancient times from Xuzhou People’s labor, life,emotions and other aspects.Firstly based on the regional history, geography and humanities research inXuzhou, this paper summarizes the Summary Overview of Xuzhou folk originsand classification, and then carries out its basic characteristics analysis andresearch. The second part of the article focuses on the analysis by illustratingthe characteristics of Xuzhou folk art, folk interview actual records obtained inthe spectrum cases analyzed with Xuzhou minor syllable, tone, melody, rhythmcharacteristics. Then through the characteristics of the Xuzhou local dialectpronunciation study, the paper analyzes the Xuzhou minor singing skills andstyle, researching the Xuzhou minor and other civil sister arts by comparison ofeach other.As the carrier of the people’s history and cultural information in Xuzhou,Xuzhou folk songs, loading up with the local and native unique spiritual values,ways of thinking, imagination, and the manifestation of cultural awareness.And in the national culture of China today, being a continuation, Xuzhouhumanities, historical witness should be subject to professional attention andprotection. Through this study the author aims to make a little academiccontribution to the protection of this intangible cultural heritage, which is nowincreasingly faded out.
