Study On Soft Decoration In Modern Interior Design

With the development of society and economy, the material needs of people’sliving environment has been met gradually, and people tend to pursue the spiritualvalues of living environment.The individualization and diversification of softdecoration can cater to people’s great imagines of the interior environment. And softdecoration design has become an important part of interior space design. Due to softdecorationin is in its earliest form now,there is not a systemic theory system. Thisstudy has a great academic and theoretical value of inproving the system of softdecoration. How to choose soft decoration for people in order to creat an ideal interiorenvironment? There is an urgent need for systemic theory research to guide theapplication of soft decoration facing the present sitiation that the theoretical research ofsoft decoration is imperfect yet. So this study also has great guidance value of practice.In the process of researching and writing the thesis,I collect the relevant materialswidely, sort out them to find out the problems and shortage.And as the focuses of theresearch.I surveyed spaces of different functions,in order to obtain the first-handmaterials.So I could analyse problems of soft decoration in the practical application.Practice is the criterion for testing the truth, through participate in design practice,research the application of soft decoration deeply to improve the design theory of softdecoration.This paper makes an systemic study of soft decoration in modern interior space inmany ways. Especially focusing on the design principle and function of soft decoration.First of all, in terms of the background of soft decoration, soft decoration is a newmethod of design, it will bring great changes to the interior design industry. Then Igive a more reasonable definition of soft decoration, and then detailedly expound soft decoration from aspects of classification, color, pattern, texture, style, layout. And Imake an analysis of design principles combinning with the needs of people and therequirements of sustainable development of the times. Then I summarize the functionsof soft decoration from two aspects of material and spiritual. The next chapter is aboutthe application of soft decoration in modern interior space, and analyses several case.Finally, I expound the trend of soft decoration in the future according to the presentsituation of it.
