Paul Gauguin (Paul Gauguin,1848-1903)a Post-Impressionist painter, sculptor andprintmaker of French.The artistic style of Gauguin has had a profound impact on futuregenerations, this thesis to research his landscape painting from in mysterious, primitive,symbolic, subjective concept. He obtained from the original art and traditional art,which hepursuited subjective exaggeration on the color and the shape,then creating a decorativepicture.He pay more attention to the original spirit rather than naturalism on expression inpainting. His colors and lines have great symbolic significance. In his landscape paintings,the colors is intense, emotional and full.This thesis is divided into four parts, the first chapter clarifies Gauguin’s painting arthow to form, the second chapter expounding Gauguin’s painting ideas, then the third chapteranalyzes the works of Gauguin’s landscape basis of the previous two chapters, the fourthchapter focuses on analyzing the characteristics of Gauguin in Tahiti works.Combined with the living environment in which Gauguin, integrated previous research,combined with my artistic practice, study the art of landscape painting by Gauguin’s worksanalysis. Gauguin influenced symbolism, Nabis, Fauvism and other major twentieth-centurymodernist painting genre, so study the landscape paintings of great practical significance. |
