"Texture" is a kind of picture effect which is created by relying on materials and tools and in accordance with certain techniques. Thus, the unique history of the development of Chinese painting shows us that Chinese Meticulous Heavy-color Figure Painting, by using different types of silks and rice papers, and by using brushes to add details to a painting and texturize and to mottle and stain, has its unique artistic charm and texture "language". This painting language existed since ancient times, and is widely used by contemporary painters in many of their meticulous heavy-color figure paintings. The "texture" of contemporary meticulous heavy-color figure painting not only integrates the techniques of the traditional "pen drawing", but also draws many foreign materials and developed many "non-pen drawing" techniques. With so many performance forms, abundant language effects and strong aesthetics, it greatly enhances the artistic quality and interestingness of the pictures.This paper begins with the historical development of the texture performance techniques of Chinese meticulous heavy-color figure paintings, summarizes the heritage of traditional Chinese meticulous heavy-color figure paintings and the application of the "texture" aesthetics of contemporary meticulous heavy-color figure paintings", to illustrate their relations of mutual supplement and development. Controlling the "limit" in practical creation can better express the artistic conception of the works. |
