A Study Of Marx’s Theory Of Human’s Comprehensive Development

The theory of human’s comprehensive development is an important part inMarxism, and the realization of human’s comprehensive development is a vision ofMarx for future society. Some east-west philosophers before Marx had studied thequestion of human’s comprehensive development, but they did not form a theoreticalsystem. Marx has inherited the excellent research results of previous, expoundedsystematically the meaning, content, purpose and the achieve path and also hasformed a scientific theoretical system. Though human’s comprehensive developmenthas a long history, it does not lose the era of light by the passage of time. It gets moreand more important with the development of the society and the progress of thehistory. China is the Scientific Outlook on Development as guidance to vigorouslypromote the construction of socialist harmonious society with Chinese characteristics,so to solve the human’s development issues and in efforts to promote the human’scomprehensive development is particularly important. This Master’s dissertation triesto comb through the history of Marx’s theory of human’s comprehensive development,and combines with the current academic research in order to study the theory ofhuman’s comprehensive development. It explores the realistic guiding significance ofthe theory in today’s China, which is proceed from the specific conditions in buildinga harmonious society of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The wholedissertation is divided into six parts:Preface: It has introduced the research background of this dissertation, analyzedthe present situation of the human’s comprehensive development research that bestudied by domestic and foreign academic circles, elaborated the research methodsand characteristics of the dissertation.Part one: Explore the ideological origin of Marx’s theory of human’scomprehensive development, summarize the excellent research achievements andlimits about this theory which were studied by domestic and foreign thinkers beforeMarx, analyze their theoretical basis role in the formation of Marx’s theory ofhuman’s comprehensive development formation.Part two: Systematically comb the forming process of Marx’s theory of human’s comprehensive development. The forming process is divided into three periods,through the representative writings of Marx which are in the three periods to elaborate.The first period is enlightenment that is from Marx’s middle school to Manuscript ofEconomics and Philosophy in1844. It is the formation and preliminary developmentperiod that is marked by the publication of Theses on Feuerbach and Manifesto of theCommunist Party. The third is the mature period, which is marked by the publicationof Economic Manuscripts of1857-1858and Capital.Part three: To understand the basic contains of Marx’s theory of human’scomprehensive development. This part briefly analyzes the scientific definition that isdone by Marx for the meaning of the theory of human’s comprehensive developmentand analyzes the specific content of the theory.Part four: This part mainly from both theoretical and practical angles to analyzethe significance of the theory on the contemporary development of China.The last part: The last part of the paper content. Summarize the particularity ofMarx’s theory of human’s comprehensive development. The theory plays importantroles in construction of socialist modernization, in the building of harmonioussocialist society, in the process of well-off society and in the realization of the greatrejuvenation of the Chinese nation. We should seek truth from facts, keep pace withthe times and promote the all-around development of human and society with ascientific attitude.
