With the rapid development of science and technology and globalization of economy, commerce is growing prosperously, and the up and down of exhibition industry is a direct indicator of the economy of its country; with the improvement of people’s life and change of esthetic sense, attraction of ancient exhibition mainly in the form of displaying for visitors begins to go down, so it is very important to create a brand-new media and better surroundings for exhibitor. The distance of present exhibition design between human and item on display needs to be modified, and interaction between them needs to be enhanced, so nowadays the exhibition can’t deliver enough information of items on display to visitors.The ultimate goal of commercial exhibition is to deliver information to visitor, bring about visitor’s will to buy and obtain further advertisement and feedback information, so exhibition design aimed at this should be service designs which focus on human, and the technology of how to put interaction to practice is becoming much urgent. Nowadays, a new media is needed to boost the development of exhibition design, and I think it is a trend for its developments in the future. An active exploration is made in this paper on how to use interaction in commercial exhibition for reasonable analysis, and six chapters are needed to demonstrate the use of interaction design in commercial exhibition. In chapter one, the application areas and present research situation both home and abroad about interaction design are introduced, and the need and value of interaction design is also involved. Chapter two focuses on some fundamental theory of interaction design, which contains basic conception, developments, design methods and forms of its expression,and after reading all this knowledge, an overall understanding of interaction design will occur. In chapter three, a systematic demonstration on the advantages and application methods as well as influence of interaction design is made by analyzing traditional exhibition design. In chapter four, from the user interactive design, analysis is made of interaction design where attention should be paid to in the process, which fully embodies the "people-centered" service design concept. In chapter five, by survey on-the spot, specific examples on the displaying pattern are analyzed in detail to get a precise blue print. In chapter six, an elaboration of the future on interaction design is made.The purpose of this study is mainly on the analysis of how to use interactive technology effectively, improve the ability of the transmission of exhibits information, and highlight the value of interaction design in display design as well as the advantages, when compared with traditional display mode in commercial exhibition. Summaries and analysis, which is obtained through displaying interaction design methods and psychological laws of visitors, are made to further explore display interaction design forms and further enrich the theoretical system of interaction design.
