Parody is one of the most usual rhetorical ways in Chinese, and it is more popular in network. This thesis is doing a cognitive study on parody in network by the theory of Construction Grammar. There are four parody constructions in network:construction by imitating syllable, construction by imitating word, construction by imitating sentence, and construction by imitating chapter. They are all understood by Construction Coercion, especially by the coercion on sound and meaning. And the meaning coercion done by the usage of metonymy and metaphor. The parody constructions of networds consist of grammar constructions and rhetoric constructions, and they could convert into each other. The reason grammar constructions converting into rhetoric constructions is the specific rhetoric reason, and rhetoric constructions converting into grammar constructions is actually a process of grammaticalization. By the study of the relationship between grammar constructions and rhetoric constructions, we know that grammar and rhetoric in Chinese are combining with each other.
