Taking the literary axiology as the theoretical basis, this thesis mainly studies the aesthetic value of Singer’s works. Isaac Bashevis Singer is a famous Jewish writer in America. His works provide his care for the crisis of belief and moral dilemmas of Jews and modern people, establishing the aesthetic value relations with human needs. Therefore, it is of research significance to analyze the aesthetic value in Singer’s works from the literary axiology.From the perspective of the relations between man and himself as well as man and man, this thesis analyzes the aesthetic value of Singer’s works with the breakthrough point of the spiritual and secular life orientations of the aesthetic value. Singer reflects the society through his literary creation, and meanwhile expresses his outlook on God and ethic value so as to solve the issues of belief and morals of Jews and satisfy the need of pursuing authenticity, kindness and beauty for human. Therefore, the standpoint of this thesis is that Singer’s outlook on God and his ethic value specifically embody the aesthetic value of his works. Additionally, the author of this thesis also analyzes some plots, dialogues and internal monologues from his works to prove the point of view that the aesthetic value of Singer’s works are the belief value embodied by his outlook on God as well as the morality value showed in his ethic value. The aesthetic value of his works is the sum total of the authenticity, tendentiousness and the form artistry of his literary creation. Besides, against the backdrop of modernization and globalization, we should think about the care and enlightenment for Jews and modernist provided by the aesthetic value of Singer’s works.
