A Report On The Translation Of A Quality Manual Of Innovate Togistics

The task for translation is a quality manual of Innovate Logistics in Britain. The quality manual contains nearly5000English words in all, and finally the author translated about10,000characters. We all know that quality manual constitutes the programmatic document for a corporation about quality management and quality assurance which should be followed for a long time, for it affects the enterprise’s image and overall job quality. Therefore, the task for translation is a door through which we can not only learn more about enterprise internal management and accumulate professional terms in Logistics, but also can set up the best image for an enterprise and ensure all the work should be done orderly and effectively.This thesis is a translation report based on this practice and consists of task description, process description, case analysis, summary and conclusion. First, task description is an introduction to the interpretation and use of the company quality manual, and a brief introduction to the significance of selected material. Secondly, process description is about the process before, of and after translation. Thirdly, case analysis is an account of important and difficult points with particular examples and the translation strategy. Lastly, summary and conclusion is the author’s thoughts and experiences gained from the practice.
