Study On The Tombs Of The Eastern Zhou Period In Yiyang Area

Yiyang area located in the central north of Hunan Province.Yiyang region steepedin history and it’s name has been used since the Han Dynasty.Yiyang and vicinity in the region of Yuanjiang, the Xiangjiang River andDongting Lake,which area has discovered the largest number of burials of Chutime-space with earliest time in the region to the sourth of Yangtze River.The time rang of this thesis begin from the start of Eastern Zhou Dynasty to Qindynasty established.The materials used are derived from published in thearchaeological excavation reports and presentations, while the collections and notofficially published materials are not used.The thesis consists of five sections.Chapter I is the introduction, focusing on the time-space range, then gives a closelook at the reseaching history,meaning and the method being used here of the topic.Chapter II analyzes the typology.There are rarely broken relationships in EasternZhou Period in Yiyang Area and we can not rely on stratigraphic. Therefore, stagingmainly through typological research to establish the funerary objects, this paper willselect the material has been published in more representative class are analyzed inorder to study staging.Chapter III is staging the years, according to the typology of taxonomic study ofthe Eastern Zhou Dynasty burials funerary objects in Yiyang area in the secondchapter, and refer to the artifacts coexistence, the Eastern Zhou Dynasty burials in theregion can be divided into six groups, and then estimating the time.Chapter IV is to discuss the relations between Chu and Yue cultural, and infer therelationship dynamic changes in Chu culture and indigenous culture from theevolution of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty tombs Yiyang area of each period.The final section presents a summary about the whole thesis.
