Aiming at the children’s novels written by authors at a younger age, the essay has combined theories such as kidology and pedagogy, with the phenomenon of children writing novels, thus to make a comprehensive analysis on this subject, ranging from the context and narrative features of these novels, to the cause as well as the significance of the writing-mania. The essay has filled the blanks of the research field of novels written by children. Meanwhile, it can provide theoretical references to write children’s novels.The Introduction of the essay has drawn a clear picture on the concept of children’s novel, and has briefed the youth novels written by those80s authors, laying a foundation for children’s novel introduced later in the next part. At the same time,it has presented sunshine sister, famous author who first encouraged children to write their own novels.The first chapter has analyzed the features of children’s novel written by children themselves from both context and narration. Children are often self-centered, therefore their novels are full of imagination and innocence from their minds, centering on three subject named school, friendship and growing. In narration, children authors express their thoughts in a simple way, and like to fill their works with magnificent fantacy and fresh cyberwords.The second chapter has explored the reasons of children novel writing subjectively and objectively. Subjectively, they write to express themselves. Objectively, contemporaries, parents, and children’s novels and writers have injected great impetus to it. The booming of internet has opened a window for children, providing them with platforms like blogs or personal zones, making it possible to communicate with authors or contemporaries online. The third chapter has focused on the significance and limitations of children writing novels. Publishing novels written by children is a epoch-making in literature and it is essential to psychology for the revealing of the contradiction of "diligence" and "self-abasement" of children in the novels, which is constructive to overcome the psychological crisis they have been through. It has also enlightened the direction of contemporary education. However, there are still some limitations. For example, the fixed themes, the impractical characters, the tedious contexts and the immature expressions. The essay holds the belief that we should inspire children to write their own novels and express themselves freely, which will definitely have profound impact both on the individual and the society.
