"The Renaissane" And Inchoation Of"Problem Novels"

"The Renaissane", a literature magazine collectively created by Peking University students in the May Fourth period, which made important contributions to the spread of enlightenment thought and the occurrence of Modern Chinese Literature. This article will take "The Renaissane" as the basic research object and starting point, and try my great effort to the overall grasp of the reduction of1920s landscape of modern Chinese literature and the original ecological literature scene. This article not only proceed from the character and discourse practice characteristic of "The Renaissane", but also combine its creation idea and specific literature, to elucidate the morphological characteristics of "problem novels", make it clear that the relationship between "The Renaissane"and "problem novels". Through these research and then analyze "The Renaissane" significance to the modern Chinese fiction theoretical research and discuss the reason its die away vanish at last.This article Based on the previous scholars research that on the basis of "The Renaissane" ideological and cultural studies, then the paper analyzes possible factors causing the occurrence of "The Renaissane", and makes an attempt to prove its effect on inchoation of "problem novels". This research on the foundation of intensive reading of "The Renaissane", break the limits of historiography, journalism and literature, delve into the relationship between ideological revolution and literature revolution. I will draw a conclusion that the meaning of the literature in political atmosphere and the mission of literature as a tool of political literature, then provide useful references for modern literature’s relationship with politics and culture.There are two innovation point in this paper:first, I will discuss "The Renaissane" character and morals and creation idea, and combine the editor’s creation intention on literature and academic to illuminate the subjective and objective factors of "The Renaissane" and "problem novels". Second, I will explore the cause for emergence of "The Renaissane" and "problem novels" based on cultural environment and literary context, and from this caused morphological change of novel, to illuminate "The Renaissane" plays an important role on inchoation of "problem novels".
