Landscape painting which is based on Western culture and developed as a kind of painting type was generated in the earliest Europe.With Chinese ethnic characteristics of the region and localized features immersing into the development of landscape painting, it would be the artists’reflections on the insistence of the language of painting in the course of this localization. This paper will explore the home landscape painting from three aspects:the form of innovation, the features of home landscape painting language and the impact of color language from traditional cultural symbols. According to the works of artistic design, form and the characteristics of color language to study the historical and cultural spirit containing in Suining landscape painting and measure the developments of a civilized nation or a region. While, the historical humanities spirit constitutes the main factors,which affects the material and spiritual civilization construction. The multi-ethnic hometown surrounded by moutains--Suining, which is also the Miao ethnic minority-based aggregation county, boasts rich historical and cultural heritage with a long history. Referring to Miao cultural elements,such as Suining revolutional war, ancient town,4.8Girls section, the ancient capital of the Kingdom Miao etc., this paper starts from the pespective of history and culture, and focuse on how to add the cultural and historical elments to the oil painting, so that you can get the more specific information about the interaction and influence between them to facilitate follow-up studies; According to analyzing the representative scenery in Suining and Miao ethnic history and culture this paper refines the creative features of home landscape painting and finds that carrying forward Miao culture and exploring the artistic creation of the relationship between the subjective perception and objective scenery is of far-reaching significance. In the process of Chinese oil painting creations, the artistic creation of Miao ethnic group increased gradually and the performance of artistic expression becomes more various, such as printmaking, woodcarving, watercolor, oil painting etc., but to display the local landscape oil paintings of Miao ethnic group in Suining is not much, for native-born creator of the family less to performance.Thus, according to describing the spiritual world which has the emotional specificity life forms in the author’s real life mixing with thoughts on real life and cultural development and using form of life to express,so as to emphasize the home landscape historical and cultural spirit in a series of creations, which is author’s unique creation experience.
