This music composition is one of the most moving Pipa solo performances of the1980s. This performance brought immense popularity to the genre, as well as theperformer. It is responsible for widespread inclusion of this instrument in the largestof concert settings, as well as music competitions. The skills involved in playing theinstrument are diverse and complex, covering the entire musical spectrum. Itsstructure is very classical, with changes in rhythm being very noticeable betweenmovements. It can evoke a wide range of emotions according to the "breath" of theperformance. In this performance specifically, there is a very distinctive "breath". Byanalyzing the "breath" of this performance, we can understand the concrete aspects ofPipa performance.
