The Research On China Traditional Ceramic Decoration-the Phoenix Decoration

This article selects the typical representative design of the culturalimplication and extremely connotation, the traditional phoenix decoration onporcelain. So far, there is no scholar concerns the ceramic decoration art andphoenix design decorative pattern. So it is a good chance for me to write aboutthis paper. From the point of structure, this paper is divided into five parts,including the third chapter, of the diachronic changes of the phoenixdecoration, the fourth chapter talk about the analysis of ceramic art decocharacteristics, and the fifth chapter, the phoenix decoration performance andapplication as the main part of modern design.In this paper, first of all, from the perspective of the study of the originof the phoenix decoration, through the various changes between the artisticstyle of image contrast, excavates in decoration inheritance and evolutionbetween porcelain and rules to organize all previous dynasties the veins of theceramic decoration in the history of evolution. In a word, Chow period, inshort, phoenix decoration dignified, mysterious, Qin and Han dynasties thephoenix decoration have lasting appeal and be full of artistic expression. Justfrom the Liu Chao dynasties the phoenix decoration becomes pure and elegant.And by the transition of Sui, create a rich and colorful in Tang dynasty. Thenthrough the five dynasties to the Tang to Qing, the phoenix decoration inrepresentational, actuality, gradually to finalize the design objective, with thedevelopment of the history, phoenix decoration reached the peak of historicaldevelopment, maturation.In this paper, I combine the comprehensive method of fine arts, history,aesthetics, art, and phoenix design aesthetic value as the main line, thecharacteristics of the style of the grain in the ceramic concrete performance,and the basic characteristics of shape and decoration, form structure, processmaterial and a series of related factors are studied. Phoenix design aestheticvalue, symbolic function and decoration value reflects the rich aestheticcultural implications. The phoenix decoration is a form and the meaning of"embody mutually ", is a kind of "the significance form", is the carrier of godand the meaning.The phoenix decoration was derived from Chinese traditional and ancientculture gene, with the development of the era and the artist’s exploration andalways sending out the rich period flavor and national characteristics. Therefore, the phoenix decoration can be implies on including modernceramic design, all sorts of design and folk arts and has extremely importantenlightenment and significance.
