From the aspect of formal composition, this thesis is to study the form landuage of Autobiography Copy book through applying the concept of Gestalt. The thesis is composed of the following contents. the first part focuses on the detailed analysis of the image from the characters of point,line and surface in Autobiography Copy book,mainly analyzing the important influence the overall style of it from the feater that curves are used more than straight lines in Autobiography Copy book.Then, the laws of formal composition in Autobiography Copy book is induced and combed.Firstly, the author of the Autobiography Copy book was used to use the same or similiar formation elements repeatedly to form different rhythm and rhyme. Lastly, the author’s fast writing has decided the line texture.As a result, the whole work is full of the sense of movement.This research is to give a more profound understanding of how the features of its modelling language and its forms carry out their complicated relations, thus forming a rich design space of gestalt.
