The relationship between Chinese and foreign literature in the20th century is not simply influence and accept, but is associated with the synchronous dialogue between Chinese and western culture in equal status, associated with the creation and contribution when Chinese literature faces the world, also associated with discussing the nature of Chinese literature in the pattern of weltliterature.Mo Yan shows personal talent and artistic pursuit, local color and folk customs in fiction, entered the world vision effectively. Measure as "the elements of weltliterature", Mo Yan’s novels not only reflect consciousness that cultural filtering in the accepting process and to explore the common law in literature, but also reflect the excavation and stick to traditional in the perspective of the world, show the individual contributions of literary creation in weltliterature.This paper is divided into five parts:The introduction, mainly to discuss Mo Yan’s novels’overseas dissemination, domestic and foreign research literature review and the connotation and extension of "the elements of weltliterature", to provide a basic research background. First chapter, around the concept of "Novel odor" proposed by Mo Yan, combining with the characteristic of "Chinese experience" narrative in his novels which is widely recognized by "the other".On the whole, to grasp and discuss new nature and unique contribution which provided by Mo Yan. Combining with "the elements of weltliterature" theory, to reveal Mo Yan’s novels’ability to participate in dialogues of weltliterature.The second chapter, centered on "the daimonic" factors, discusses Mo Yan’s unique observation and thinking on Chinese characteristic national temperament, and to explore the "red" imagery, cruel experience and contradiction of human nature. The third chapter, centered on the carnival features in Mo Yan’s novels, discusses its "carnival" factors. Conclusion, briefly discusses "hallucinatory realism", and thus to summarize Mo Yan and the meaning of his novels.The novels of Mo Yan have a conversation quality to the weltliterature."The daimonic" and "carnival"in his novels, together with his "Chinese experience", composes a genre painting,which taking China as the background,at the same time,"who with hallucinatory realism merges folk tales, history and the contemporary’...
