" A Night Mooring by Maple Bridge" was created by the famous composer in our country in the1980s, named Li Yinghai. The song is one of the Seven Quatrains song cycle "Three Tang poems", which was created by Zhang JI, a famous poet in Tang Dynasty. This composition won the gold award of the "Chinese art song creation competition in1980s" with regard of the original thought and ancient and elegant music image-building. It has become an excellent representative of classical poems and songs in the new period and it is also a classic music which has been often played in concert. The composition is in the lots of artists’ good grace with its serene style, especially the voice. It can bring audience into a hazy meaningful night scene graph, and its charismatic and wonderful artistic conception can even touch the soul of audience. In conclusion, by the analysis of this art song,"A Night Mooring by Maple Bridge", it can not only help myself get into a deeper understanding of the composition, but also play an important role in the enriching of the theoretical knowledge which was learned in my own classroom.
