Jia Zhangke and Li Cangdong are excellent representatives of China and South Korea realism film director. In nearly20years of film careers, their films have won important awards in the whole world, which make them winning the world’s attention, after1997, when the films of the two film directors were debuted. At present, the study of Jia Zhangke and his films is too many to count, and the study of Li Cangdong is also increasing, but the comparative study of films between both of them is still blank.This paper will comparative study the two directors and their films.
