The Study On Literary History Consciousness Of Liu Xie’s Wen Xin Diao Long

Wen Xin Diao Long plays a significant role and exerts an vital influence in thehistory of ancient Chinese literary theory. Usually, scholars studied it fromperspective of literary criticism to literary creation and literary theory, but it’s notaboundant for the study of literary history consciousness. The thesis attempts fromthree aspects to interpret it step by step, which including Liu Xie’s embodiment of theliterary history consciousness in Wen Xin Diao Long，his formation of the deep lawof the literary history in his literary history consciousness and methodological basis offormation in literary history consciousness.The thesis consists three chapters, except for the introduction and conclusion.The first chapter: highlighting the feature of liu xie’s literary historyconsciousness from the comparation of the previons literary works or chapters, andstating his sense of literary history in Wen Xin Diao Long. This chapter will bedivided into two sections: The first one states the literary history consciousness ofLiu Xie and the next one states Liu Xie’s multilevel embodiment of the literaryhistory consciousness in Wen Xin Diao Long. In the second section will declare thatthe literary history consciousness of Liu Xie is embodied in the classic history, thestype literature history, literary rhetoric elements, general Chinese literature and thecreator history.The second chapter: evolution form and the motivating factors of the formationof literary history will be alleged. This chapter is divided into two sections: evolutionform of literary history will be evaluated in the first section. Firstly, the evolution of"zhi" and "wen";Secondly, the theory of " zhi wen generation replace " in Wen XinDiao Long; Thirdly,"zhi wen generation replace " in the classic history, the stypeliterature history, literary rhetoric elements, general Chinese literature and the creatorhistory. The motivating factors of the formation of literary history will be stated insecond section. The third chapter: On the methodological basis of the formation of literaryhistory consciousness. This chapter consists of three sections: Firstly, themethodology consciousness of Liu Xie will be analyzed. Secondly, the origin of theoriginal method reflecting in five types of literature will be stated. Thirdly, theevolution of method of focusing on the process will be stated and reflected in the fiveliterature historys.
