Because of the long history and strong culture, traditional Chinese art contains manyunique art forms and artistic language."Stay white" as a unique form of expression inChinese painting, the painting works ingeniously use "stay white" skills, to the place "nodrawing into scenic spots" ideal effect, its aesthetic thought and aesthetic temperamentand interest has been applied to the other arts, and in the modern ceramic art also has its"shadow". Based on the "white space" for a specific entry point, through the meaning of"stay white" in Chinese painting, combined with its cultural background analysis of thedevelopment and change of its aesthetic background, tries to explore "stay white" line inthe modern ceramic art in the spirit, to emphasize the importance of "white space" in theceramic art creation, to make it better for ceramic artists use, create more endowed withthe format and content of ceramic art.
