With the combination of both macro and micro perspective, this article willstudy the spread and reception of Su Shi’s ci poems from the Song Dynasty to theQing Dynasty in the following four areas.The first chapter introduces the two methods of the spread and reception ofsome particular ci poems of Su Shi, manuscript and copy by carving, and analyzestheirs values in collecting, identifying, collating and chronicling of Su Shi’s cipoems.The second chapter studies the spread and reception of Su Shi’s ci poemsduring the process of compiling.It contrasts the numbers, authenticity, intertextualityand styles of the collections of Su Shi’s ci poems in order to make clear theconnections and differences between them and the development course ofcollections of Su Shi’s ci poems.The third chapter studies the distribution of some famous ci poems of Su Shi inthe selected works of well-known writers, comparing with that of the other fifteen ciwriters of the Song Dynasty. It also makes an introduction of the interpretation andartistic criticism of the compilers of selected works of well-known writers.The fourth chapter lists the eight methods, ten themes and eight causes of thereception of Su Shi’s ci poems by ci writers after him. On this basis of those above,the article explores the the multiple correspondence and complementation betweenthe spread and reception of Su Shi’s ci poems in different areas.
