China’s Criminal Copyright Protection In Network Environment

In the promotion of rapid development of modern science and technology,technology revolution of digital and network which combined with knowledgeindustries has exploited a new knowledge area and promoted the application of newknowledge.The technology revolution makes knowledgeeconomy develop explosively in the process of commercialization,scalari-zation andmarketization.Knowledge economy which bases on information and is regarded ascore of science technology and science is gradually becoming a leading force whichpoints out the trend of the world economy. At the same time, criminal means whichfollow the trend and present the complex patterns make the intellectual property crimebe uncompletely determinate and expand the extension ceaselessly, which raises newchallenges of intellectual property law. Under the wave of know-ledge economy, allthe nations use civil, administrative and criminal law to protect intellectual property.As the supporter of all laws, criminal law is naturally essential in the protection ofintellectual property rights. Especially in the field of copyright crime,our criminal copyright protection starts late and there are several shortages in the copyright crimes.It is unable for the criminal law to protect copyright in the network environment.Therefore, it is necessary to adjust it appropriate-ly.
