The Exploration And Achievement By Jiang Zemin To The Sinicization Of Marxism

In the process of the Sinicization of Marxism, Chinese Communist Party develops twotheory systems which include Mao Tse-tung Thought and socialism with Chinesecharacteristics. It has important meaning to profoundly study the systems in theory and reality.Socialist theories with Chinese characteristics mainly consist of Deng Xiaoping Theory,the important thought of Three Represents and the Scientific Outlook on Development asChina’s major strategic thoughts. The important thought of Three Represents is a significantphrase during the development of socialist theories with Chinese characters. Since the FourthPlenary Session of the13thCentral Committee of the Communist Party of China, theimportant thought of Three Represents is the main contribution of the central collectiveleaders whose core is Jiang Zemin.The Three Represents, by Jiang Zemin, was firstly inaugurated in "Guangdong Speech",elucidated in "Shanghai Speech", summarized in "July1stSpeech" and constitutionalized inthe Sixteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China. In the process of theSinicization of Marxism, some theoretical results were achieved mainly including enrichingand developing the Party’s ideological lines, the Party’s guiding ideology, the primary stage ofsocialism theory, the development strategy of the primary stage of socialism, socialist spiritualcivilization construction theory with Chinese characteristics, theory of reunification of themotherland, the statecraft of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The Party’s basic programfor the initial stage of socialism was proposed, the goal of the socialist market economysystem was established, the socialist political civilization and the great new Party-buildingprogram were promoted. These results are the new requirements of the Party and state to meetthe new changes of the modern world. The results further explain that what the socialism is,how to deal with the socialism construction and creatively answered what kind of the Partywe should build, how should we do with the construction of the Party.A series of close connection and a new conclusion of mutual connection are proposed toform a scientific theory system in the respects of running the Party, State and Army, domesticand foreign affairs, national defense, reform, development and stability which enriches andpromotes the development of some major issues during the construction of socialism such asideological line, the way of development, developmental stage, development strategy basic tasks, motive force of development, dependent strength, international strategy leadingauthority and fundamental objective which makes the socialism with Chinese characteristics,the laws of governance by the Communist Party and socialist construction further understood.From the exploration by Jiang Zemin, recognizing the basic state situation is the premiseof realizing the Sinicization of Marxism. Advancing with the times, theoretical innovationbased on times’theme is the source of vitality for realizing the Sinicization of Marxism. Thefirm Marxism faith and scientific Marxism outlook is the foundation of realizing theSinicization of Marxism. Combining Marxism with Chinese traditional culture is therequirement of realizing the Sinicization of Marxism, strengthening Party construction is thekey to the Sinicization of Marxism.
