Analysis Of The Mechanism For Prosecution Authorities’s Intervention In Public Emergencies

In recent years, frequent reports on public emergencieshave shown a high average growth rate of these events. Itis undoubtful that this phenomenon can be attributed to various reasons, while as an important force in maintaining social stability and harmony, prosecution authorities shouldtake effective and proper actions to deal with these events. As supervision agencies, how can they play a better rolein handling these emergencies? Their primary task is to setup a sound and targeted public emergency response mechanism, and at the same time no efforts should be spared to improve legal aid system, enhance people’s trust on legal syst em as well as public’s rationality, and build an atmosphere of justice.This paper analyzes the nature of procuratorial power,clarifies the rationality, legitimacy and feasibility of the intervention of procuration authorities, and then introduces the mechanism for procuration authorities to intervenepublic emergencies, through a thorough analysis of some outstanding problems in current judicial practice and problemsrelated to the mechanism.
