Study On Ecological Immigration Status Based On The Perspective Of Risk Society Theory

As a kind of unwilled migration, ecological migration possesses various uncertainties and incomprehensibility in the corresponding course and society. Facing these uncertainties and incomprehensibility, the theory of social risk provides us with a reasonable research perspective. The notion of "social risk", greatly describes and analyzes the characteristics of the ecologically migrant society. Moreover, it also provides a unique perspective of the development of ecological migration as well as a better comprehension to the present society for the people in the modern age. The theory of social risk is as a kind of postmodern theory with critical thinking. So, it offers a beneficial train of thought to have a reflection on the present society, the regulations and the policies for the scholars and decision makers. Besides, the theory of social risk is not aiming to eliminate the risk but go on a refection of the present regulations from the perspective of sociology.This dissertation, regards the newly migrational village as the point of research to have a further field research, which is located at the Yangtze River source in Golmud, Qinghai Province. And it tries to combine the theoretical researches and empirical studies, applying many methods of anthropology such as literature research; statistical investigation; in-depth interviews and observation. Throughout the conclusion and discussion of the bibliography, the paper provides a new perspective of sociology to analyze the phenomenon of ecological migration with the theory of social risk.
