In Western Countries integrity is more put intoeffect by the law enforcement and the external restriction. It differs from traditional views ofhonesty in our country which advocate inner honesty and believable appearance. Modernconnotation of integrity is changing with social development. The connotation changes infaith, credit, reputation, trust and so on. In the network Society, network integrity behavioremphases on self-discipline more, people being younger age and are abundant in awareness ofintegrity. The promotion of network integrity has great significance to the establishment ofharmonious interpersonal relationship and to the construction of material, spiritual andpolitical civilization.The network is becoming an important carrier of social public opinion with thedevelopment of the Internet. Network public opinion has become an important part of socialpublic opinion. The formation of network public opinion brings a positive role in thedevelopment of the society in our country, but it also brings the lack of the phenomenon ofnetwork integrity, and it does great harm to the orderly and healthy development of networkintegrity environment and network society. Young peopleespecially the students make up the main group of today’s Internet users. As to the way ofobtaining information, news website plays an important role. Network has become animportant way for the Internet users to understand public opinion. Families and schooleducation are responsible for integrity education. There is lack of network integrity innetwork public opinion, such as nonstandard network language, the false “public opinion”,network hacker attacks.The immediate reason of lack of network integrity in network public opinion is thecomplexity of its own. The lack also lies in the historical, political, economic and culturalroots of people’s consciously violating moral integrity in the traditional Chinese history.Another reason of the lack is the weakening of modern social integrity moral consciousnessand the environment of lack of integrity in modern society.In the aspect of countermeasures and suggestions, we should value network public opinionand promote the construction of network integrity.
