As is well-known,China is the most populous country in the world, and it accounts for20%of the world’s population.Meanwhile,it is also the most old population country. With the progress of society, development of health care, exaltation of people living level, and prolongation of human life, whether quantities or proportions of aging of populations are increasing. The traditional models cannot meet the requests under market-oriented economy conditions. Particularly owing to the implementation of family planning policy and the fierce competition in society, the problem of cities empty-nest elderly family is more serious than in rural areas. Based on the structure of the family gradually small, traditional family support has been unable to meet China’s current situation.while the community home care service is becoming increasingly important.It’s cost is very low, and the elderly live in a familiar environment, the city empty-nest elderly family welcome the service pattern in community.As the most developed city of China, guangzhou is facing a number of problems about what the aging of the population is given to. This research under the background of aging of population, and the number of empty nest in guangzhou, on the basis of in-depth literature research and field research on the theory and literature review of the Aged in Urban Communities comb, summed up the status quo of the city empty-nesters community home care model and the existence of problems,from the theoretical and empirical aspects of multi-dimensional analysis of the problem and development to further improve the urban elderly, especially empty nesters community home care service work countermeasures and suggestions. We’d better to meet the needs of the elderly in order to build the model of urban community home care model as soon as possible.
