In recent years, with the rapid population growth and rapid economic development, human engineering activities continuously enhanced, as a result, the damage they cause to the regional geological environment is more and more serious. Meanwhile, global warming is causing increase in precipitation, more extreme weather events, and the growth of landslides occurrence, severely constrain regional economic construction and social development, forming a serious threat to people’s lives and property. Therefore, researches for the hazard assessment of regional landslide contributes essential practical significance and research value to disaster preventing and reducing, land use planning, and disaster managing and decision, and so on.This essay regards WenChun County as the study area, relying on the GIS technology, through the way of analyzing the key impacting factors of landslide disaster distribution such as geology, lithology, geography, the earth’s surface and hydro meteorology and so on, combined with the Wenchuan field investigation as landslide hazard evaluation index selection principle. Six landslide impact factors are selected for evaluation index which are elevation, slope, lithology, terrain curvature, topographic wetness index and stream power index. Applying ArcGIS to extract relevant factor data, and normalized the factor data. Construct Mamdani fuzzy reasoning model by using Matlab, by using the model zone landslide susceptibility in the study area. The main contents of this paper read as follows:(1) According to the impact factor selection principle, select Wenchuan landslide hazard impact factor.(2) Based on RS&GIS technology, extracting the impact factor of landslide susceptibility and building a spatial database.(3) Through the Mamdani fuzzy theory model to get Wenchuan landslide susceptibility analysis map, then using the ROC method to verify the results.
