Debris flow is a sudden natural disaster phenomenon unique mountain Wit h the continuous enhancement of human social and economic activities, the inc rease in the intensity of environmental effects, prompting more severe mudslide s disaster. Therefore, we must strengthen the exploration, research and preventi on of debris flow hazards, organized on the basis of the implementation of cos t-effective mitigation and preparedness measures, so as much as possible to mit igate or eliminate the loss of the debris flow disaster.Debris flow for this paper is to study the grass Bay is located in Yongsh eng County, Yunnan Province, located in the area of active fault zones-Chen ghai fault zone near the complex regional geological structure, geomorphology prominent characteristics found in the region prior to the region, survey, survey the research can provide certain reference value for the activities of the formati on and development of the fault zone near the limestone area mudslides.Firstly, start from the study area topography, geomorphology, lithology, hy drological, meteorological, geological structure and other macro grass Bay muds lides which geological environment, and then on the grass Bay the debris flow Gougou Valley characteristics and regional characteristics of the detailed analy sisand detailed calculations of the debris flow characteristic parameters for the the Countermeasures Research next step theory and data support. Due to the s pecial nature of grass Bay geographical location and geological conditions, the main research an important role in the formation and development of the the Chenghai fault zone on grass Bay mudslides, mainly its role on the provenanc e of debris.Second, from the mudslides formed three basic conditions: terrain, geological conditions, source conditions and rainfall conditions, the grass Bay mudslides formation conditions and the forecast of the trends, provenance condi tions for regional limestone crushersituation, the trench sediment sources were s tudied, rainfall conditions in the basis of a large collection of rainfall data to make a quantitative research, and summarizes the law.Finally before Wen research achievements and research area actual situatio n, grass Bay debris flow formation conditions and development trends to study the basis, combined with its occurrence condition, provenance conditions and hazards object’s characteristics grass Bay debris flow prevention countermeasure s carried explorefor the purpose of to propose the biological Engineering+En gineering Countermeasures prevention, bioengineering returning farmland to fore st, afforestation to restore vegetation cover, to abate the grass Bay the trench s urface runoff and loose solid substances recharge, restoring watershedsecological balance; engineering control measures against sliding of retaining the engineeri ng+Landang engineering.
