This thesis is guided by carbonate sedimentology, reservoir geology, petroleum geology, and the latest theoretical results of correlational research at home and abroad. Its main objects are the outcrops, drilling and logging data. Using of multi-subjects, multi-techniques synthesis methods, with advanced analysis and test method, this thesis makes an in-depth and detailed research to the types, characteristics, main development control factors, reservoir capacity, influencing factors on bank reservoir property and distribution of the banks in the center and west of Sichuan Basin. And it forecasts the profitable region of good bank facies reservoir.Study shows that there are four types of bank, including intraclast bank, algal-bonding grain bank, oncolite bank and oolitic bank, and four combination types of bank, including dolomitic flat-intraclast bank, intraclast bank-algal-bonding grain bank, intraclast bank-oncolite bank and dolomitic flat-oolitic bank. And palaeostructure, palaeolandform, palaeoclimate, hydrodynamic condition and sea-level fluctuation are believed to be the important factors controlling the development of these banks.The reservoir property of intraclast bank and oolitic bank is best, of algal-bonding grain bank is well, and of the oncolite bank is bad. Its pore types mainly include intragranular dissolution pore, intergranular dissolved pore and algal-bonding framework dissolved pore. The reservoir property of bank was mainly influenced by sedimentary environment, especially the late diagenesis. Syngenetic-penecontemporaneous dolomitization produced a certain number of reservoir space; Syngenetic karstification, supergene karstification and burial karstification, which has played a constructive role to the reservoir property, generated a large quantity of secondary dissolution pores.Longitudinally, the banks mainly distribute in the T2l11, T2l32, and the T2l43. Horizontally, the bank facies reservoir are developing wellalong Moxi-Longnvsi and Zhongba-Shuangyushi, which are favorable for exploration, and developing not so well along Longgang-Yingshan.
