Porphrins were pay attention to by Chemist since1953. The special structureof Porphrins,such as π conjugated system, have attracted extensive attention inapplications in the areas of molecular materials, molecular devices, optical storage,photocatalytic, electrocatalytic oxidation of biological simulations, solar storage, gassensors and simulated natural product and so on. Porphyrin and its metal complexeshave a special activity center and excellent optoelectronic properties makes it wasresearched in the field of chemistry, photochemistry, electrochemistry and so on.Porphrins plays an important role in the nature and biosphere and participate in aseries of important life processes. chlorophyll, hemoglobin, and other biologicalmacromolecules containing porphyrin,s structure, so that it has been a great deal ofattention in the field of photodynamic therapy, anti-tumor effect. Because of thestructure of the tail-amino acid porphyrin compounds like heme and cytochrome, itwas researched in recent decades.The thesis is mainly about the synthesis and characterization of chiral L-aminoacids porphrin and Its metal complex. It is composed of two parts:the first chapter isabout the summarization of the research status of porphyrin compounds, especiallythe introduction of its synthesis and application. The second chapter is the experimentand mainly discusses the fifth acids porphrin and its metal complex synthesis, whichwere characterized byIR、UV-Vis、~1H NMR and Spectroscopic Properties of thecomplexes were studied. The result of experiment shows that the Soret band of themetal porphrin complex was redshift and the band is reduce,but the fluorescenceemission peak of the metal porphrin complex is in the visible region.
