This paper focuses on the low removal capacity of total nitrogen of sewage treatment plants to carry out the denitrification biofilter technology for depth processing. Through the establishment of the small scale test device in laboratory, the researchers analyzed the impact of different operating conditions of denitrification filter on the effect of denitrification, And to establish the denitrification filter nitrogen model which based on the Monod equation,then find the optimal parameters and reverse authentication. Ultimately, the optimal process operating conditions have been proposed,and the optimized process operating conditions were concluded and supported technical for solving the existing sewage treatment process TN compliance issues.Firstly, a small pilot-scale denitrification filter reactor was established, the system examined the impact of the ratio of carbon and nitrogen (C/N), hydraulic retention time (HRT), influentconcentration of dissolved oxygen, backwash conditions and other factors on the result of nitrogen removal. The results show that the best operating conditions of the denitrification filter are that the C/N is4and HRT is100min. Water dissolved oxygen had effect on the dosage of carbon source. Filter backwash can guarantee the stable operation of the reactor.Then, denitrification tests showed that, in low-carbon source load conditions, the denitrification activity is mainly concentrated on the sufficient area of the carbon source and denitrification activity is more evenly distributed when the influent C/N is4:1. When the water DO reduces, the denitrification activity will be enhanced.Secondly/The denitrification filter denitrification model is established based on the Monod equation,and the initial value of the parameters in the model based on the classic value set. Pre-denitrification experimental data was used on denitrification model dynamics correction and verification by AQUASIM2.0,and eventually come to the model parameters that apply to the denitrification filter.Finally, changing the flow conditions in the model to predict the denitrification filter effluent under different conditions.In order to reach the national A standard,backward prediction additional carbon source dosage in the influent.
