This thesis takes Haikou low grade phosphate rock in Yunnan Province as the research object, firstly analyzed ore properties by studying the ore bulk density, compressive strength, elemental analysis, and phase. As the selective grinding of this type of ore related rarely at home and abroad, not to mention the selective grinding theory of mine medium and the grinding media system matching optimization scheme,thus there are only several domestic universities and the grinding medium manufacturers still research on this issue, next analyzed size characteristics of grinding representative samples so as to control the actual production situation and existing problems at present, and then we combined segment diameter semi-theory formula and crushing statistic mechanics to determine the medium size and adding proportion, finally try to applied one kind of new grinding media in grinding this kind of ore, ultimately optimized matching the grinding media system.This thesis mainly focuses on the crushing and grinding experiment of Haikou low-grade collophane, because it’s useful minerals disseminated size is fine, for the grinding of the relatively high demand, not only requires monomer dissociation of useful minerals, but also reduces the overgrinding levels of yield, namely mineral materials and grinding media matching must be well, and this experiment includes laboratory test and industrial test.1After studied the mechanical properties and the actual product condition of plant, in addition to the grinding media system, at last puts forward the existing problems and the technical route.2Take conjection with diameter semi-theory formula and crushing theory of statistical mechanics, put forward the size and compensation scheme of steel bar and steel ball, and the results of application in production compared with113t/h in2011, the average efficiency of mill upgrade to135.07t/h, processing is improved.3On the basis of the fine grinding, grinding medium applied to the two section grinding, only to find that average unit mill processing capacity increased19.54%than before, and the unit volume of ore consumption is decrease by14.05degrees/t than before,equal todecrease by10.62%, and steel consumption is also reduced greatly, and the mill works more stable and noise decreased.
