As a base material of the C1chemical industry, methnol is a new kind of important clear fuel with high competitiveness in21s. The synthesis of useful new energy(methanol) via hydrogenation of carbon dioxide has intensly drawed worldwidly study interest, because of it not only will improve the environmental condition we live in,but also can mitigate the increasing problem of resource management.And the key to the solvment is an effective catalyst which can accelerate the hydrogenation rate and improve the yield of methanol.A series of CuO-ZnO-Al2O3-ZrO2catalysts prepared by novel co-precipitation method were mainly studied in this paper.Through the paper,much work has been done,including finding a better mole ratio、a better fertilizer with an appropriate amount、checking the conditions catalyst prepared under,the temperature、the rate of the ultrasonic、the stiring way and the better precipitators.The features and morphology of different catalysts prepared by the novel co-precipitation method were studied by the means of BET、TG-DTG、X-ray diffraction(XRD)、 temperature-programmed reduction(H2-TPR) and temperature-programmed desorption(CO2-TPD).The catalytic activities were studied on the fixed bed reactor under a low temperature and pressure.And the followed conclutions can be made:(1)The better catalytic activitie was shown by the catalyst with a mole ratio of0.45:0.45:0.02:0.08,whose conversion of total carbon was23.69%, the yield of methanol was26.89%.(2) All kinds of fertilizers improved the catalyst performance in varying degrees.Especially the catalyst fertilized by CaO with amout of1%(mass precent) showed a higher carbon conversion, which is24.61%.higher yield of methanol. which is30.2%and a larger BET,which is75.258m2g.(3) The catalyst preparing conditions,including the temperatures、the rates of the ultrasonic、the stiring ways and the precipitators are all acters of influenc on the calalysts performance.We found that a postive effection will engendered if the active centers dipersed well,simultaneously the size of particles gets smaller.then the synergy effect between CuO and ZnO impels the formation of CuO-ZnO,thus the catalytic activities will be strengthen. The catalysts modified by ultrasonic、K2CO3precipitator and batch stirred way show better activities by comparison to the traditional ones. The carbon conversion and yield of methanol of calalysts modified by ultrasonic with37100hz were25.01%and27.38%respectively,and by K2CO3precipitato were24.85%and27.94%,by batch stirred way were23.51%and27.53%.
